The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is all set to kick off the excitement with a spectacular opening ceremony on February 7, just ahead of the Pakistan versus New Zealand match on February 8. This marks the beginning of the thrilling tri-nation ODI series, followed by the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, which starts on February 19.
Fans can expect a vibrant celebration, featuring live performances, mesmerizing fireworks, and a one-of-a-kind light show. Renowned artists Ali Zafar, Arif Lohar, and Aima Baig will take the stage, delivering electrifying performances. The festivities will be topped off with a stunning drum and firework display. The opening ceremony, which will be graced by Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, is open to the public from 5:30 pm, promising an unforgettable experience.
Under the leadership of PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, the stadium has been transformed into a state-of-the-art cricketing venue in just 117 days. It now boasts brighter LED lights, larger score screens, and comfortable imported seating in all enclosures, ensuring a top-notch experience for all fans.
