Pakistan U19 Squad UAE Tour 2024
The Tri Series U19 Men’s cricket squad of Pakistan has been announced by PCB. The series will be on the format of ODI 50-over tri-series and the ACC U19 Asia Cup 2024-25.
Moreovcer, the entire series will take place in the UAE from November 13 to December 8 2024. There will be total three cricket teams in this tounament, such as Pakistan, Afghanistan and host country Pakistan.
Capitancy of Pakistan in U19
Saad Baig is the captain for U19. Saad Baig, who captained the Pakistan U19 team in the previous editions of the ACC U19 Asia Cup and the ICC U19 World Cup 2024, will lead a 15-member squad that will be narrowed down to 14 players for the Asia Cup, starting on November 29.
Furthermore, six players, including Saad, Ali Raza, Haroon Arshad, Mohammad Riazullah, Naveed Ahmed Khan, and Shahzaib Khan, represented Pakistan at the ICC U19 World Cup 2024 in South Africa. Furher, the Tayyab Arif is also part of the squad as another U19 player. He is also a professional player in U19.

The Men’s National Selection Committee conducted trials and selection matches to finalize the 15-member squad from a pool of 120 players recommended by 16 regions, based on their performances in the Inter-District U19 tournament and the Regional U19 Academies held in August.
The team, led by Saad Baig, will depart for the UAE on November 9 from Lahore to participate in the 50-over tri-series, beginning with their opening match against the UAE on November 13. The tournament will follow a double-league format, with the final set for November 26.
In the 50-over U19 Asia Cup, Pakistan U19 is placed in Group A and will face India in their first match on November 30, followed by games against UAE and Japan on December 2 and 4, respectively, at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The top two teams from both Groups A and B will advance to the semi-finals on December 6, culminating in the final on December 8.
