Bangladesh Cricket Board or also known as (BCB) – This board is the top department or institute of Bangladesh that is supervising and managing the affairs of cricket of Bangladesh state.
The Bangali Cricket Board is managing all the domestic and internatinal matters of cricket. It prepares teams for international tournaments of cricket such as ICC International Cricket World Cup as well as ICC Champions Trophy.

- Established: 1972 (as Bangladesh Cricket Control Board)
- Affiliated with ICC: Became an Associate Member of International Cricket Board in 1977 and a Full Member in 2000.
- Played its first Test match against India in November 2000.

- Domestic Competitions:
- The cricket board is responsible for domestic and international cricket affairs. Moreover, it also organizes tournaments like the Dhaka Premier League (DPL), Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), and National Cricket League (NCL).
- Secondly, it also develops grassroots cricket programs to identify and nurture talent.
- National Teams:
- First of all the basic function of this cricket borad is to Manages the men’s and women’s national teams across all formats.
- Secondly, it is also suppose to supports the Under-19 and A teams for player development.
- International Matches:
- On the other side, the Bangali cricket board also coordinates tours and home matches for international cricket series.
- It also hosts ICC tournaments and global events.

- Located in Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Mirpur, Dhaka.
Main Features and Achievements
- The first and formost achievent of Bangladeshi cricket team is under-19 World Cup win in 2020.
- Hosting rights for significant events like the 2011 Cricket World Cup (co-hosted) and the 2024 ICC T20 World Cup (co-hosting with Ireland).
